Welcome moms with school aged kids.

At MOMSnext we focus on your needs as a woman, wife, and mother. Our meetings are designed to provide you with opportunities to relax, make new friends, enjoy adult conversation, hear from guest speakers, and be involved in group discussions on topics of interest to moms at this stage of life.
We are happy to have you join us. We want to provide you with a warm and caring environment. If you have any questions, needs, suggestions, or would like to help in any way, we welcome your input.

What is MOMSnext?

MOMSnext is a group for mothers of school-age children. As mothers enter the school years, new challenges and issues arise, but the need for community and hope remains. For this reason MOPS International offers MOMSnext, a ministry to mothers of school-age children. A MOMSnext group is an open, accepting place for all mothers of school-age children to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help and spiritual hope.
MOPS is a grassroots movement that believes moms are world influencers. We believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That’s why the organization connects moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood.
MOPS, MOMSnext, MilitaryMOPS, and TeenMOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying alongside one another. There are more than 4,000 MOPS affiliated groups meeting across the United States and in 35 countries around the world. MOPS groups meet regularly to celebrate the joys of motherhood and to encourage each other through the challenges. We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world.
Please join us this fall at First Presbyterian Church. We tentatively plan to meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month, September – May from 7 – 8:30 p.m.
If you’d like more information, or to register, please contact Stacy Wolfe at fpcmarysvillemomsnext@gmail.com

 PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN'S FALL GATHERING

The Presbyterian Women in the Presbytery of Scioto Valley will hold its Winter Gathering Saturday, February 25, 2017, at 9:30 am, at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Upper Arlington. The theme for the meeting will be “Justice and Peace.” The topic of conversation will be “Why Prisoner Reentry Matters: They All Come Home!” One of the afternoon breakout sessions will be led by ex-offenders who will share their experiences while incarcerated, the obstacles they are confronted with both within and outside the prison walls, and how they bridge the transition from prison to the community. This promises to be an interesting and informative meeting.

HISTORY

The First Presbyterian Church of Marysville was established in 1829 and is the oldest church in Union County. The present building is the third in the church's history, all occupying the corner of Fifth and Third streets in downtown Marysville. In 1993 a major renovation, including a three story addition, was completed. The building is completely accessible, including an elevator and accessible restrooms.
