mission trip 2017

Another successful mission trip is in the books! What a great week for Emily Jewell,Mission Trip 2017 Holly RodenhausenAdam VanDuzen, and me! We would like to thank you for your support. Many of you helped us “eat our way” to Point Pleasant by attending fundraisers at Bob Evans, Culvers, Boston’s, and Fiesta Grande! Many of you supported us with your thoughts and prayers. Each year, we are challenged to “share” our stories with our congregations…help you to feel as if you traveled with us. Emily, Holly, Adam, and I have done our best to put this life changing week into words. We hope you enjoy our stories and are proud of our efforts! Judy VanDuzen

 Life Member Award

Our congratulations go to June Hakola and Wilma Miller who were presented the Honorary Life Member Award of Presbyterian Women in the Presbyterian Church USA.  This award recognizes its recipients for their commitment to Christ and to the mission of the church.  The Honorary Life Memberships are rooted in a tradition that began in 1912.  June and Wilma are now part of a select group of women who have been so honored over several generations. During the worship service on February 21st, June and Wilma were presented with letters of acceptance, framed certificates, and pins symbolizing the attributes of women of faith. We offer our congratulations and our thanks for their faithful and exemplary service.
